This environmental award winning boutique style motel is situated in the heart of the Daintree/Cape Tribulation National Park near the shores of the Coral Sea & Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Located on over one hectare of rainforest & tropical gardens, the bright and airy rooms reflect the area in which we live. They contain high ceilings with fans, kitchenettes, comfy queen size beds and are en-suite. We also have a large saltwater swimming pool and gas barbeque area.
The pristine Cow Bay beach, only 5 minutes by car, a delightful bike ride of 15 minutes or a leisurely stroll of 30 minutes is typical of Far North Queensland, where the Rainforest meets the Reef. Get away from the crowded beaches of the south, stretch out on the golden sands to add to your tan, or sit back and enjoy the scenery under a shady tree only metres from the water.

The deluxe Fan Palm Rooms have one queen bed and a doulble sofa/bed, a full en-suite bathroom, television, kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, and all cutlery and crockery. All rooms contain complimentary tea and coffee, and are fully serviced daily. All guests have full access to the large swimming pool and free gas barbeque area.
Gecko Room
The Gecko Room has one queen bed and one single bed. It has an en-suite, with a television, fridge, toaster, and kettle. All rooms contain complimentary tea and coffee, and are fully serviced. All guests have full access to the large pool and gas barbeque area.
Cassowary Room
The Cassowary Room is a deluxe family room. It has a queen bed and television in the master bed room. 1 room has a bunk bed and a single bed in a separate sleeping area and another room has 2 single beds in a seperate sleeping area. It has an en-suite and contains a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, and all cutlery and crockery. A dining table and common television are also provided. All rooms contain complimentary tea and coffee, and are fully serviced. All guests have full access to the large pool and gas barbeque area.
Cicada Room
The Cicada Room has one queen bed. It has an en-suite, with a television, fridge, toaster and kettle. All rooms contain complimentary tea and coffee, and are fully serviced. All guests have full access to the large pool and gas barbeque area.
Tree Frog Room
The Tree Frog Room is a family room. It has a queen bed and television in the master bed room area (no connecting door)the other area has a bunk bed and a single bed. It has an en-suite and contains a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink, and all cutlery and crockery. A dining table and common television are also provided. We will need a credit card guarantee as you will be charged for the first night if you fail to give 48 hours notice of cancellation. Please note, if booking through a travel agent, airline, or global booking systems (e.g. Orbitz, Travelocity, Expedia, etc.) cancellations can only be made through that agent.
